Fire on the Plains

I was able to drop by briefly at Fire on the Plains. This easily could become an event I truly enjoy as the focus was on the arts and sciences. But Fiordelise is moving and a huge quantity of our time right now is dedicated to that, so I didn't even bring a project to work on.

Although the rain was heavy on Friday, Saturday was a gorgeous day, and Apollonia brought with her a cow to demonstrate milking. I'm a bit hesitant of cows (I have a lot of negative childhood experiences with livestock) but this one was such a sweetie! Not that I tried milking her personally -- but maybe, one day. Though more than likely, I will find myself embroidering under the shade of a tent than that! 😂
